We are hope you are enjoying the small amount of “hopium” the crypto asset market is providing right now with price action!

We wanted to write a friendly digestible post in lieu of an AMA, as EZ is on the road, and our devs are hard at work!

Marketplace Partner

Our marketplace partner (oblivion.art) is live with our first available mint collection, “Money Monkeys” by Main Street Crypto. We are glad for a successful launch of this project to “test” the viability of our marketplace!

Secondary Marketplace features (buying, trading and selling your NFTs, INCLUDING RugZombie NFTs) are scheduled to come soon. We will let you know when the Oblivion Marketplace team has these features live!

Remember, every trade on the marketplace is going to rebate $ZMBE to users, hopefully putting consistent “buy pressure” on the $ZMBE token and increasing wallet size.

The launch of the Oblivion Marketplace is just taking off! More features are imminent, including but not limited to:

• Cross-chain Implementation (our eyes are on Polygon and Arbitrum)
• Self-service NFT Launchpad services
• Rental Feature for in-game assets with Dead Games titles.

New Legendary Graves — For the Dead x Dead

As most of you know, our spawning pools are a great way to get access to new tokens that you may or may not be interested to purchase out right. These are low risk pools that allow you to acquire tokens while safely keeping your $ZMBE. This kind of pool inevitably will have tokens that fail to thrive, etc.

While we can’t control the actions of other projects, we ARE passionate about maintaining the integrity of our brand and ecosystem. So we are glad to announce our NEW LEGENDARY GRAVES for the following tokens, but with a twist:

• Koala Defi (Nalis)
• Monkey Coin (MKC)
• L1ght L1st
• Squid Stake
• Atmossoft

We will be issuing GRAVES for the above tokens BUT the GRAVE will NOT require tokens…rather, it will require users to hold the Spawning Pool NFT associated with the Spawning Pool. Rather than staking a MKC token, for example, users will be required to deposit their Crypto Mutant Monkey NFT. You will not get this back.

Why you ask?

Simple; to drive you mad. You know, zombies eat brains to keep the madness at bay so just go gnaw on some brains while you wait.

What do you get in return?

Glad you asked. We will be re-issuing the NFTs as SHINY VERSIONS of their predecessor. We know that not everyone will want to trade theirs in, and we believe these SHINYS, although it is a cosmetic change, will be highly valuable as games and marketplace features come online.

We don’t plan to make this a regular occurrence for NFTs from spawning pools, but we will always have this on the table for shiny versions of our existing NFTs.

Games Update

We are fully engaged with Dead Games Inc, the company who will be making and delivering the game. Our Patient Zero game is under some massive upgrades to content and will be ready for general release sometime this month (at least, the tutorial dungeon). We always will be improving the gameplay and “patching” this game.

The trading card game is under wraps currently, as the Dead Games team is working through names, designs etc. The core “beta” version of the game will be in playable beta mode without NFT integration in the next few weeks likely before April, we hope, as it would basically let us check our roadmap timeline off and we can boast of delivering on time! However, excellence and a good product is more important to us than staying on the timeline.

We will likely release a “beta pass” for players who want early access to the game to help us play test and get ready for battle in the next few weeks. The beta pass might include an NDA agreement for all players (we are working through it), HOWEVER, it will also result in a rare card or two that will only be available to beta pass holders.

Merchandising Update

We have completed 100% of the work on our end for our unique merchandising arrangements, we are only waiting on this point with our partners to get a test out to market. You will be the FIRST to know when our test product is ready and live!

Catacombs ReDesign & Quality of Life Improvements

We are hoping to have the Catacombs redesigned to look and feel similarly to our new design. Stay tuned for updates there! We also have kept the Insta-buys available in the catacombs as it is not yet apparent if the marketplace will allow us to bring those contracts over seamlessly. Please note the prices on those NFTs WILL go up on the marketplace.

As far as QOL improvements, we have a laundry list of things to do, so please note that if you have asked for some of these features, they are noted and we will get to them in due time:

• spawning pool and grave contract addresses on site for easy access
• slider, and updated UX for staking/un-staking (we know that the min/max amounts can be a bit confusing)
• Gravedigger (suggesting graves, and ability to find information for graves and pools)
• NFT contract address links in graveyard
• Mint + Harvest at same time
• Minting and Harvesting features separated on TOMBS
• Updated ToS and Privacy Notice on Site

New Pools and Partnerships

We are excited to share we will begin renewing some pools on your favorite projects soon.

All the Rest of the Stuff

Some of you have long memories, and you will notice that we have delayed or forgone releasing certain features like the BARRACKS, etc. This was intentional due to market conditions, the workload of our team and focusing on priority issues. In fact, some of the particular features we hoped to release we might hold on to for quite a while.

We are waiting on some marketing and other things that will give us broader exposure and help us to generate some more buzz on these specific features.

On the marketing front, we are looking up! For you, marketing may look like shilling and other “promotions”. This is not the healthiest type of marketing in our view, and we are passionate about getting it right.

We are working on low-cost, viral and high impact ways to build a base for marketing. This includes NFT giveaways, our referral feature (coming shortly after marketplace stuff) and a few other things we are working on.

We know that marketing is an important aspect to any project, and we are diligently working to keep laying the foundation we need to be successful long term! Thanks for all your patience with us as we build for the future. We are taking the long-term approach to ZMBE because we want to be around in 20 years :-)
