Weekly Dev Notes 8/17
Introduction
Our team has been hard at work trying to bring the best features to RugZombie and Oblivion NFT Marketplace. Many new features have been and will be introduced very soon, so we wanted to give you a brief breakdown of some of the new changes coming to our protocols!
Moonpots
We recently partnered with Moonpots to offer another way to earn some RugZombie NFTs! On moonpot.com, there is a new pool where you can stake up to 100 POTS tokens for the chance to earn an exclusive RugZombie NFT (pictured below). Every day, one winner will be picked, so make sure you get in before the supply runs out!
Main Street Crypto Spawning Pool
Our newest Spawning Pool with Main Street Crypto just launched on August 16th. You can now stake ZMBE in Main Street Legendary Spawning Pool to earn NFTs as well as MAINST tokens. We are very excited to bring back Main Street Crypto into our Spawning Pools and would love to hear any suggestions from the community on who we should work with next.
Wert Polygon Integration
We’ve been teasing our integration of Wert for a while now and now the time is finally coming. In the coming week, Wert’s services will be available on our Oblivion NFT Marketplace on Polygon! You will now be able to buy NFTs on-chain on Oblivion directly from your credit card. We hope this will make the process of buying NFTs easier than ever while avoiding centralized exchanges.
Oblivion ERC-1155
Oblivion NFT Marketplace now offers ERC-1155 NFTs. ERC-1155s are particularly useful in gaming, and since our vision is to provide top-tier games that integrate our very own NFTs, this is a huge step in that direction. Keep an eye out for new collections coming soon!
Discord Changes
We noticed a few issues with our Discord channel, so we fixed a few things and added some new channels. We want our Discord to be a hub for victims of rugs, scams, hacks, and exploits to cope and chat about recent events. Join us in the #rug-talk channel to discuss recent rugs in the space and how to avoid them in the future. We also added the #exclusive-zombies channel that is reserved for RugZombie NFT holders only!
To further protect our community, we added the #scam-alerts announcement channel which tracks the Twitter accounts of CertiKAlert, Wallet Guard, and PeckShieldAlert. These are three services (mentioned by us in this thread) that provide real-time alerts for any and all scams, rug-pulls, hacks, and exploits in the crypto space. Check this channel regularly to make sure you are protected.
We also want to hear from the community on what you want to see on RugZombie and Oblivion. Particularly if you’ve been rugged recently, suggest some new Graves to add to RugZombie and we will look into them as soon as possible. If you have any integrations or partnerships that you think would be beneficial, feel free to let the team know.
