Introduction

With the release of our trading card game, Zom, right around the corner, we wanted to give an update on what’s going on with Dead Games Studio and what to look forward to. We have been working tirelessly to ensure a smooth beta launch for Zom, which will come in the next few months. We are also extremely excited for our community to get the chance to put their RugZombie NFTs to use and battle against each other. Be on the lookout for announcements coming very soon!

Zom: A Trading Card Game

For fans of popular gaming titles such as Hearthstone, Magic the Gathering, splinterlands, god’s unchained, and Gwent, look out for our upcoming game, Zom! Zom is a strategy deck-building card game that uses the RugZombie NFT collection. The public beta will launch in the coming months and incorporate all RugZombie NFTs that were offered as rewards in the Graves, Tombs, and Spawning Pools.

Users create a deck of 20–30 cards within our collection, and play in a turn based game, playing zombie and location cards from their hand and battling other players in order to end up with the strongest horde. Each card is unique and every game is unique and will vary based on the combination of the cards you choose to play with.

Rarer NFTs will have advantages in the game, and you can see a full list of all RugZombie NFTs with their rarity in the Graveyard. We expect the value of these NFTs to increase dramatically after the launch of the game, so make sure to create your deck now while it is still cheap!

Patient Ø

Patient Ø is a retro-style mini-game that also incorporates RugZombie NFTs and is currently live in beta. If you own a Basic RugZombie NFT, you can try out the game now at patientzero.rugzombie.io! Users can play as their Zombie and fight epic battles, solve complex puzzles, and much more.

Since Patient Ø is still in beta testing, we want to hear feedback from the community on what you’d like to see added or changed. We also plan to integrate NFT projects beyond RugZombie by creating side quests, so if you are a project owner looking to add further utility to your collection, read about our Quest as a Service (QaaS) offerings and reach out to the team.
