RugZombie has already listed our initial GRAVE offerings here. We are saddened by the rug pull of Merlin Lab, but pleased to announce that we will be adding a new GRAVE for $MERL upon launch or shortly after. We have already commissioned the NFT artist for this project. But let’s get down to the nitty gritty.
First, let’s all take a moment of silence to remember those fallen by this magical Merlin rug.
How Did Merlin Labs Start?
Merlin Lab was set up as a yield farm optimizer and a fork of Pancakebunny (Pancakebunny suffered from similar hacks in its code). Merlin Lab helped users yield farm BNB and Pancake. It also made a yield aggregator that would invest tokens into pools for it’s users.
What Happened?
Merlin Labs suffered an exploit (actually, numerous exploits) in its code that resulted in the theft of 300,000 dollars worth of value. Shortly after the Merlin Lab developers deleted their Twitter account, muted their telegram and shut down all operations with the below haunting last words.
The magical power of Merlin made this project disappear.
This project has been declared RUGGED by the RugZombie team.
What is RugZombie doing?
- Any current holders of MERL will be able to stake in our MERL GRAVE by the following process:
- Stake a certain amount of $ZMBE (there is a deposit fee on all GRAVES)
- Deposit a single MERL token for verification
- Earn a yield emitted in ZMBE. (This yield is calculated solely on the price of RugZombie’s token, NOT based upon MERL).
- After a set number of days of continuous staking, you will be able to mint and claim your custom NFT.
We understand that our NFTs are rare, and not everyone will be able to participate in this grave, as not everyone holds the scammed token.
We do not recommend buying known scammed tokens, this is highly risky and may result in financial lost and even rewarding the scammers. Tread cautiously. You can always wait for our secondary market to buy these NFTs from others.
